"Nice Guy"

The animated film “Coraline” has always been my favorite. Every age group can gain new insights from it. I realized that the "scary" Mom wanted more than just to sew button eyes onto her children; she wanted love. However, her desire for love and the way she sought it were wrong. Therefore, this series primarily aims to blend hard contrasts with soft materials and feelings to express an inner world that appears terrifying but is actually soft.

The animated film features numerous insect elements. I used a 3D pen and organza to create models resembling insects. The organza forms bubble-like shapes symbolizing pregnant women. I combined these two elements through pattern-making and sketching to create this series, which is ultimately presented in the form of 3D Clo clothing.
